My was was non power drum/drum
I've now put a power booster and disc brake master cylinder on
Do I still need a proportioning valve or does the disc brake MC do it
I've had two differing opinions
Confused

If you've got one, leave it on.
I have power disc and have very over-active rears. Perhaps from stock it was set up right, but so many mods and wheel sizes over the years...
Dont see how proportioning valve can hurt. Just open it all the way up and try it.

Yes. Adjustable one.

No.

When you brake hard you need the fronts to lock up just very slightly before the rears will. With bigger rear tyres this usually means reducing the pressure to the rears a bit so the fronts do more of the work.
