1. Do the exhaust manifold bolts for a 383 go onto the water passages in the head ?

2. how do you remove the vacumn advance unit from a Mopar distributor ?

2. remove rotor, reluctor (carefully pirize off with two screw drivers) and screws for base plate, remove the screws from the vac advance unit, then wiggle the rod and baseplate til they separate.
1. I think the front and back studs go into the water jacket ala SB.

All the exhaust bolts go into the water jacket.

The advance thingy locates in the movable plate with a pin on its end that engages fom the underside of the plate.

Reading what i just wrote makes no sense at all to me and i know what I mean!
