... Is it just mine that is this messy?
When she cooks and she really can cook well, she has to use every bloody item in the kitchen, leaves most of it after the meal and then pootles off to do something else leaving a bomb site.
Everything she does is kind of half baked and never quite finished... Meh. Bloody women.
I guess I should not complain that much, her response to me saying
"I'm getting a new engine for the escort, it's going to be very expensive..."
was.
"Okay."
I guess that's one good thing about her being almost horizontal.

Sounds familiar but I would get "what's an 'escort' ?"
Needless to say 'we' have only been out in the Challenger ONCE.
I'm still trying to figure whether I'm lucky or a loser !

I live with a bunch of messy, disorganised, lazy gits who make that much mess that they cant be arsed to tidy up, that ive given up. I refuse to tidy up anyone elses mess anymore and won't decorate etc till they learn to respect the house and its contents (which I pay for!).
Here is an example....the hall and downstairs landing after school and work....drives me Bananarama! nuts!!! Wouldnt mind if being tidy was difficult and can you imagine what the kitchen looks like at dinnertime!!!!!

I feel your pain.....
My wife, love her, good but messy cook. Again uses a new spoon for each friggin veg. Me, I can do a full roast dinner with about three things
Don't get me started on lazy teenagers either, they block the toilet, bugger off to college and leave it for someone else ! ME
Might empty the masses of toilet roll they use into a bag and put it in their room !

That is one reason the women are multitasking!
"start a lot of work but never end one"
we men do one thing at a time and Bananarama! which could mean tidy up as well.
we love them though (wife) I mean.

I guess all women cook like that.
I cook and clean as I work using as few dishes, pans, and utensils as possible. By the time the meal is on the plate there is very little to do after the meal to clean up.
When Diana cooks it is like a bomb hit the pantry. She uses every inch of worktop, nearly every pan dish and utensil we own. Different spoon every time she stirs something. Slop all over the cooker top. Everything is on full gas. I have to follow her around to turn stuff down unless I want a burnt dinner or stuff boiling over.
But bloody hell she makes a good dinner.

Oh and she has at least six pairs of shoes at the bottom of the stairs at any one time. Even just 24 hours after I have tidied that away. How anyone can wear that many shoes in one day is beyond me.

OMG Dave we could be with the same woman!!!!!!!
Right let me start by saying I love my girl to bits, she does all the right things all the time .................BUT she is the messiest woman I have ever lived with!!!
Cooking ......so many pots ,so many spoons and kitchen implements out all having been used and none reach the sink, veg peelings remain on the work surface and the bin is right underneath where she has cut them, cooker goes on full crack , veg water boils dry and when I ask how long something has been in the oven she can't always remember.
Clothes......these tend to be around her side of the bed but migrate around the foot of the bed ,and under it to, jackets get left on backs of chairs and don't get hung up
Shoes...... you barely see a pair neatly put in the shoe cupboard, individuals congregate at the back door or at the bottom of the stairs.
Make up and nail varnish...... is all over the house , and then gets frustrated when she can't find that new eye liner or whatever.
Time...........she is always running out of it!!!!!!!!!!
Towels.........wet and lying on the bed
oh and there is her daughter who seems to be following in her mothers foot steps

and her dog shedding hair
Other than that all is fairly good, although I could go on but I feel kinda better now
Unfortunatly I am the tidy one and get the most frustrated , I picked a hell of A TIME TO STOP DRINKING!!!
.................But I love her
Medication please

I think it comes down to dedicated chores.
If she cooks..........I clean.
So.........she has no reason not to use everything!
She hasn't then got to spend an hour afterwards cleaning and tidying like we have too!
Problem is when roles are reversed and I cook, they only give me a few metal trays and some fried rice which are all binned.....so two plates, knifes and forks and that's it!
Can't complain though...........the food hits the spot (good cook)!

My ex was the most laziest woman I've ever known. Washing up just wasn't on her agenda, clothes were stored anywhere in carrier bags, the hoover seized up through lack of use. Then she started shagging about so I sacked her. New one is totally different, now it's me that needs to sort my act out a bit more.
