Just out of interest. What pressures do you run in your D100's / Rams etc ?

40 psi seems about right in mine. Drop to 30 in winter conditions ( with a few bags of sand on the bed !)

Cheers :thumbright:

My Durango should be at 33 psi but seems to work better at 40psi....weighs 5000 lbs so that is a consideration........

Thanks Pete. Don't know what the truck weighs , but is the military heavy duty version. Any more than 40psi rattles your teeth. Any less and its a C body ( sorry !)
Tyre wear indicates I'm right , but interested what others run. Seems the yanks run up to 70 psi to get better fuel economy

I have got the military pressures in the door shut. 40 front 70 rear.
Daren't try it as I don't fancy dentures just yet

When I bought the Durango it was at 65psi

The tyres are not rated that high..........

I have just put new tyres on the back and it squeals on roundabouts at speed so it may need some adjustment...........

What does it say on the tyre? xxxx lbs/kg at xx psi, should be more than your axle weights, then drop the pressure down accordingly. Remember that the manufacturers recommendations are for the tyres that were fitted from the factory. May not have been radials & probably a different size.

I run mine at 60 front and 65 rear.

Mine are E load rated and are supposed to be run at high pressure. Not sure on the 1500's since mine is a 2500.
