We did the O2 & Wembley Stadium last time. The O2 was great, despite being seated a fair way back, but the stadium wasnt so great, too many peed-up toss-pots in the crowd there cos AC/DC are/were 'fashionable' :x

I'm sure it would have been better if we'd been nearer the front, in the thick of it, but we didnt get there early enough for that cos of the roads being snarled up on the way there (it was a Friday, late afternoon), and not being able to park within about 2 mles.

That was my/our first time seing them since 1988, just for old times sake. I think it may have been the last tho - cant be doing with stadiums any more

Hope you enjoy it tho :thumbright:

Seen 'em 3 times in the early 80's just after Bon Scott died . . and they were absolutely outstanding - two hours of non-stop thundering rock riffs.

Struggled hugely to get a ticket for the Black Ice tour a few years back and even though Malcolm was still playing, they sounded as good as ever but looked tired . . and who can blame them ?.

I hate to say this but I'm reluctant to fight for overpriced tickets when I have a horrible feeling that I'll be a bit disappointed - you can't expect the little fella to still be walking on his knees and spinning around on the floor when he's not a million miles from a bus pass.

Best remember them as they were.
And I can relate to the 'crowd' comments . . . most going have heard Hells Bells and Highway to Hell and can't name a third . . .

The remastered "live At Donnington" blu-ray is fantastic, and if you have a decent home theatre system is one of the best live music films out there. I think in 1991 when that was filmed, they were at the top of their game.

I've got tickets too!

Not normally one for large gigs but ACDC are worth it!
