Haunted car ?

Whilst I'm enjoying my new found luxury of my Jeep, I do have one concern.
After re setting the preset radio stations from boring stations like Radio 2 , LBC , Classic etc. to my preferred station of XFM and radio 1 etc for the kids,I believe I may have upset a car poltergeist !

The kids can quite happily listen to their various stations , flicking through to find songs they like BUT. If I start listening to XFM , the station will change after a while back to LBC !
( for those who don't know it. LBC stands for London's Biggest Conversation. No music. Just talking about current affairs and news etc. BORING !!!)

I have tried changing the pre set's around , but it still does it !!!
All other stations are fine.
I normally resort to turning it off and listening to the 4 litre six. Not great.

My next step is to disconnect the radio from power and start from scratch ? ( I have the code )
Any ideas ???
:help:

I'm sure there is a setting which makes the radio tune into the strongest signal but i can't remember what its called.

Firstly I take it your radio is a traditional FM and not Dab

XFM transmit on 2 x frequency

London area 104.9fm
North area 97.7

LBC transmits on one frequency

97.3

So you radio is a picking up the weaker northern signal and when that signal level goes below a freshold ( possible adjustable) it's switches to the next signal LBC

So tune into the London signal of 104.9

;)

If you talk to a jeep parts counter with the vin you can get radio code

There was once an old wives tail about putting a radio in a freezer for a night wrapped up in bin bags.

Well I can officially report it dont work and totally Bananarama! my radio
