Its been smashed in transit Ade. Was fine when collected in Texas and the guy who collected it in Southampton said it was smashed when he got there so its happened between those times. Ive emailed the shipper re the insurance I took out but haven't heard from them yet

Hopefully the insurance will cover it. On a bright note it doesn't seem to have damaged the trim ?

Very sorry to hear about the screen, I bet all parties will walk slowly backwards after quoting you a big excess....our '62 Dart survivor got twatted with a forklift and we never got a dime....had to paint the whole car.......ditto the '67 Plymouth when they lifted if in the centre and bent all the exhausts.............hope it works out for you.

Trim is fine Gaz....thankfully....

yeah Pete, I am expecting the worst with the screen. See what they say in reply to my email. Sounds like potential for a lot of issues with damage during shipping.....wasnt expecting it to be honest

Cheers :thumbright:

Yeah typical insurance company, unless the boat actually sinks they will always seek dis-ownership

Any time Dave and yeah, its taken a belt for sure!

Thanks Bilko, she is a big car to be honest but nice lines. She is rough round the edges but some TLC will go a long way. Should be a good driver car when Im done hopefully :thumbright:
