Well i've bitten the bullit, as my dad Jerry has bought the road runner, he no longer needs the tube framed car, so i have bought it, it is not going to be a race car, it will be a street strip car, i'm installing a 440 w/727 and putting some fat treads on the back, and its going to be driven to and from the track, hopefully be out early next year

That's gonna be one hell of a street car
It would be great if you could keep the body and interior looking pretty stock, hard work but it would be so cool!
Gooid luck with it and don't forget those pix for the updates

it isn't possible to keep interior stock it has a funny car cage in, unfortunatley, the outside will look stock, with probably a flat steel hood on there, and center lines on instead of the pro stars

quick update, been spending money over last couple of weeks, now got mickey t sportsman pros, 850 dp holley carb/w proform baseplate, hooker super comp headers, and ally intake, everything more or less there now for engine other than new cam, at the min it has a 484 hydraulic in, i'm replacing it with a custom ground scotty brown (straightline performance) piece, 534 hydraulic so should make it pretty stout
