I've done a couple of things towards getting ready, fitted the removable tow bar to the Charger and washed the caravan, just a quick service to do on the Charger and that's me done and ready to go. I hate having to rush.

Need to get my hilux MOT'd now I've literally just finished replacing the ball joints, drop links and front shocks.
The Mustang needs the power steering reservoir and pump replacing.
The Charger needs the LCA bushes replacing, disc brake conversion needs doing, then an MOT.
All hopefully before the NATS

Refit the trans cooler pipe without leaks. Check exhaust/headers for leaks and then cane it and and see if it all holds together.
And a week in Spain too before the Nats.

Harrys been on the Van tonight, quick wash, vacuum & spruce up. Cooker to go back in, power lines made up, so can hook up to the Genny. TV Ariel to be sorted.
Trailer all sorted in the earlier part of the year
Make up new front fuel lines, only a few hours, test fuel pump drive.
Fit flip/flap to the Valve cover breathers & make up new valve cover lines, another couple of hours. Install rad, 10 mins. The fit new pushrods & fire the motor the weekend. Assuming fuel system is OK, rear valance & boot to go back on.
Away tomorrow to Poland & back on Thursday, but should have plenty of time , he said with trepidation ...

Wait 2 weeks for my shock rods to arrive, invent seals and rebuild the front struts.
Order the right clutch plate, wait til mid-July for it to arrive. Whip out the gearbox and fit said clutch & flywheel.
Learn to drive a stick-shift with one leg...
Meanwhile, back in the real world, I just need to pump up the Truk tyres, load her up and drive her there

Big thing for me to sort before the Nats is the damn engine pinking. I was hoping to take it up the strip but not while it's rattling like a sack of spanners.
Other jobs are fitting Hotchkis leaf springs and Koni rear shocks (assuming they arrive in time), pop in a set of NGK iridium plugs and better-quality leads.

If is of any help, I will be taking my Snap on timing gun to the Nats if you want us to give it the once-over....
