Hi mate. I fitted new ones to the Coronet.
Literally just clip into slots in top of door on mine. Check length before hand as I had to trim a couple of mine.
Hope that helps.
Thanks

First thing I did was lay a couple of lengths of masking tape along the edge as those clips are razor-sharp and will dig into your paint. I've never been able to remove the old ones without damaging them so don't waste too much time trying. I use a pair of needle nose pliers and grab the bead directly above the clip and wiggle until it comes free, and work you way along until it's free of the door. Check the new one against the old to make sure it's the same. Starting with the first clip, line it up with the hole and gently press down to engage. Don't Bananarama! all the way home until all the clips are lined up with the holes otherwise it's really hard to get it out again. Press down firmly and you'll feel it snap into place.

Thanks

The hard bit is the door panel side as the staples are machine punched through the door card. I wouldnt bother even trying to line up the new staples through the new strips and door cards. I did the ones on my Fury by removing the old ones and lining up the new strip with the inevitably faded line revealed when removed. Clamp it firmly and mark the inside of the fuzzy bit with a tiny dab of white paint at each end and about every 6 inches inside those marks. Using a very small drill, drill tiny holes through the strips and the metal top of the door card. Then use very small self tapers to secure it. You will be able to tighten them right up and they will disappear in the fuzzy bit.
Go steady, one at a time and you should be ok
Good luck
