Good movie, good old school music and more use of the F word and N word than any film I know.

Who else has seen it?

Your thoughts?

Yeah, glossed over that a bit.

I remember seeing Run DMC and beastie boys at Brixton academy.

It ended in a mass brawl!!

Haven't seen it but it'd be going some to beat Richard Pryor's liberal use of the F & (especially the) N word in his '79 film Live In Concert :thumbright:

I want to see this. My pal Martin who some of you met at the NATS this year is heavily into Hip Hop and was at that Public Enemy show in Brixton. Im a late arrival when it comes to hip hop but, having been introduced to Dr Dre via 2001 a few years ago, Im hooked.

Busy working my way through about 30 discs of stuff Martin has given me while Im laid up with my trick knee...all the stuff Dave mentioned in a previous thread and more. Latin Jazz, hip hop, NWA spin off stuff etc....great stuff. I have to cough to sitting in the garden earlier listening to the Miles Davis mono recordings that I bought a few years ago, whilst reading a book in the Sun....either Im getting old and eclectic for the hell of it or I really am discovering new music for a change....I favour the latter :thumbright: :thumbright:

Just bought Dre's new album 'Compton', some great tracks. As ever there's one or two to skip, but the quality of the mix is excellent and some great tunes. Tracks, 4,5, 6, 8, 15 getting my most plays
Erm dope, then :help:

Keep an open mind, it's more about the rise and then fall of the members and how they got screwed over by one member and managers etc etc
