Yes, top wife.
Luckily Mrs Johnny has had to put up with me having lots of cars for 25 years, and doesn't bat an eye lid any more. there are 15 in the household at the moment, and I must have a clear out in the new year !
How about a nice pick up. I don't want to sell it , but its getting a bit tight in the barn :thumbright: somethings got to go.

They are good generally! We have just hit double figures on cars, but only for a week, before one has found a new home.

Cheers Johnny

I'm after a ram van or day van so I can crash out in it when at a show though

Not gonna be spending big bucks, just enough to get something reasonable

But I do like that truck, maybe that'll be on the list for 2017 !

Yep I understand , Its been a bit chilly of late, and the pick up bed doesn't offer much protection from the elements, also very awkward to get the tent pegs to pierce the bed floor. :thumbright:

Mrs Blue is happy for me to do as I like car wise, she won't stump up any cash or space to keep stuff though which I think is pretty bad form....

I always said to myself that whoever I ended up with I didn't want the cars to become an issue. I see them as toys in a toy box so what better way to spend your time than playing with them with your best mate?

Nicola is just as bad as I am when it comes to cars, if not worse... We met drag racing at the pod so that probably says it all!
She knows how to build an engine so we get to do things, like every other aspect of our life, as equals. I couldn't ask for anything more than that! :)

I too am VERY lucky, my lovely wife Julie puts up with a lot from me - cars AND Motorcycles too!

She is a good racer too, with a PB of 10.34. Here she is working on her '62 Dart 440 - a car featured on the MMA stand at the NEC and also in Classic American magazine.

That one went to live in the netherlands a couple of years back. I'm still in contact with the owner. Bit of a rare beast... one of only 749 rubber bumper BGT's fitted with a V8 at the factory. It only had 36k on the clock when we bought it too!
One of the few cars I'd buy back if the opportunity ever arose. You know how we've probably all got one car we dreamed of when we were kids... well, that was mine. ;)

I think most of us are lucky that way.... The evening I met my wife, I took her to see my car. She knew what she was in for!

Even today she is smiling a bit when I showed her the car I am going to look at Saturday. Even though it is over budget, then I showed her the stuff I would need for it. :help:

My other half is easy going on the car front too. Every time I look at Ebay and like something she tells me to buy it

Trouble is,new central heating, rewiring, new kitchen and a wood burning stove are all higher up my list right now. Teach me to buy a house
