Didn't even know there was a Hemi Coronet post car in the country. I see it's RPM doing the video, which probably means Carlos fandango owns it and if that's the case it's quite possible you'll never see it.

Good video - there's a load more on there as well, including one of the black 71 Hemi cuda which is my favourite of the Carlos Monteverdi cars.
Good videos Martin @ RPM

Sadly gone back to the States now tho (according to Martin's write up on that vid) .... not that we ever got to see it anyway

Apologies for going slightly off topic, but this is where the 71 cuda went.........

Didn't know it had gone back - thanks for the link, that bloke has a nice collection - the cuda looks a lot better now it's back on proper tires rather than the radials in the other video, from what he said sounds like the black Daytona has been sold as well.

Thats what you call a true survivor, no wonder it doesn't see the light of day much.

You have, but I'd guess that's a once in a blue moon event for YouTube?
Not to stereotype, but the guys that buy these high value cars don't tend to take them out much.........I'd drive the wheels off it and take it too the NATS etc.
I may be wrong, and hopefully so, but its done less than 9000 miles in nearly 50 years...........that tells a story in itself........

As others have said, its absolutely stunning. Its a survivor car and a survivor car for a reason, because its maintained and driven responsibly and infrequently.
I completely disagree with you on this, they sure aren't making any more of these cars and I believe the few that are in this condition should stay in this condition for future generations to look at and use as a reference. Much better than guess work, and pictures.
You always hear people who could not in their dreams own one of these cars say they'd run it ragged. Why is it always people without money telling people what they'do do with something if they had the money? To me that smacks of people without money not appreciating things that take money and effort to own.

I can see both sides of this argument. Personally I wouldn't want the responsibility far a car like that, I'd rather have my slightly tatty one that's there for me to pop down the shops in any time I want.
Does anyone know why such a high percentage of these early Hemi cars seem to be based on the post body rather than the presumably more racy/desirable (?) hardtop ?
