Hi All,

I've just removed the rear shackle bushes and found that their is a lot of rusty scale in the eyes of the springs. I've chipped it out and found that the new rubber bushes have about 1/16" gap all round. Is it ok to install them or are there any oversize bushes on the market.

My only other thought is would it be better to get hold of some polyurethane and make up new bushes just for the spring and use the stock rubber for the chassis mounts.

2 sizes of bush and 2 sizes of bolt for front spring eye based on year and engine

I don't know for definite... but if they did that at the front eye they may have done that at the back as well.

one of the UK poly bush places has Dodge charger bushes

in theory they will be 68-69 set due to popularity

but at least they can home in on the set and tell you sizes
