i like it - i also think the superbird wheelchair one is cool as well - its a picture from behind going down an interstate isnt it ?

Thats me. Not even 'with it' enough for terminology thats knocking on 50 years old...

Think it would have been better if they had followed the angle of the rear glass......Parallel Lines work better.....And added rear windows into the huge metal slab.......Plus put a rear wing on the edge of the roofline.

Was it the Trans-Am that they did the Kammback version off......same league for me.......3/10 for final product, 10/10 for effort.........

Yes it was the Trans Am - they did them as concept cars in 77 and 79 , and some aftermarket company did some replicas of them for big money , the episode of the Rockford files was on BBC2 last year that featured one of them in it

Seem to recall there was something similar available for 'vettes as well.

Fantastic pictures. I'd actually seen the super bird years ago - I just wasn't educated well enough back then to recognise what a super bird was!
Not the most aesthetically successful of conversions, but invariably there has to be some compromise.
We used to have a white mk1 polo affectionately known as " the pope mobile" with a similarly shaped conversion that we used to transport my late grandmother when she became wheelchair bound and it served its purpose well enough.
Not pretty to look at, granted, but it obviously served the purpose to allow someone who was physically disabled to continue to enjoy going out in their mopar and the only thing cooler than a mopar is a mopar with a wing on the back!

Love the Charger Wagon. If it's ugly and you don't want it, I'll have it.

The wheelchair 'Bird could come in handy soon ....

Yikes, that really doesn't work at all! Rear window reminded me of those '70's Volvo P1800 estates.

...and they've stretched it, moving the rear axle back about 18"...it's all wrong that one!
