Only took 30-odd pics in and around the pits (plus a film's worth of action shots with the old SLR), but theres thousands more on the official website:

Here's most of what I took, on the Friday. Think I got ALL the Mopars except one, a Demon I think. Count 'em - you'll only need one hand
U get any pics Rich (RichDeb)?

Thanks for posting these Rob, great pics, man I need to get to some races over there it's been too long

.
Fury is AWESOME, I would have that over any of the others, Cuda also looks good. Strangely I also like the Beemer (that's a first!!), they all actually look like street cars.

Had problems charging the digi-cam`s batteries so I didnt take too many but the ones I did are on your shots anyway apart from the poor unfortunate with this truck in the Pro street finals on Sunday.
What a weekend though.Got there at 11 on Saturday and queued for an hour to park the car.Paid$30 each and stayed all night to see the last chance qualifiying till gone 11.30 in the dark and at 85 degrees!!Heaven...Got chatting and drinking with various groups of racers and fans,so by midnight we were both heavily intoxicated

so slept in the car(Chrysler 300,so plenty of room).Seeing as we were still in the grounds we didnt have to pay again for the Sunday

.
What an event! It just blows you away from the cars to the transporters to the weather. This was my 3rd time there and I dont think it will be my last..

Yeah, he got out pretty sharpish but the fire crew seemed to take an age to get there, although it was on fire from the start line till he pulled up about 1/3 track, right opposite where we were sitting.
I'd post some pics but theyre still in my SLR on an unfinished film

So then Rich, where were you sitting Fri/Sat/Sun? Pit side or t'other?
We were in the same block of seats each day, opposite side to the pits, 2nd block up the track from the start line. Sitting with/near Jim McGhee, Brian Huxley, Dale (fibreglass man) and many other Brits who's names I feel I should know.
Someone else we were with at Race Rock & Speedworld on the Saturday is the very tattooed, tall bloke who's been around Mopars as long as I can remember, at the Pod and everywhere. Lovely guy but I'm ashamed to say I dont know his name either.
Anyone got any idea from that description? Shaved head, goatee, loadsa tattoos?

Just found a pic of the guy in question, in the background of one of me Race Rock pics (just sorting thru them). Bit fuzzy, sorry.
Anyone know his name?
