Hi, My name is Nick and a new member to to MMA, I have a 68 Charger in a container on its way back from Texas, in anticipation of its arrival to me at the end of the month i need to start thinking about MOT, The lights seem be the main issue to me in terms of the colour of the front side lights and rear indicators and the way in which the rear brake lights operate, is there a UK legal lens available and wiring loom for tail lights or is a case of some careful colouring and rewiring?
I also need a couple parts that i know of which are an OE temp gauge and a left hand interior A post (windshield) trim in gold if possible but can colour to match if not?
Thanks, Nick

You could use the reverse light at the rear as indicators and I run the front orange markers as joint marker and indicator. i don't have hide away lights so have fitted a side pilot light in my headlamp lenses, guessing there are lots of others on here with chargers who can advise. I don't like LED's on period cars but you could look at brightlights, they also have a great solution for the front side markers as an indicator. they are not cheap though!.
Most people use a "friendly" MOT station and leave the indicators American spec. If you want to modify the lights you'll have to come up with your own solution, you will find various threads on how to modify the wiring and ways to mod the exsisting lamps to suit.

I've just fitted the Bright Light Custom LED boards to my Charger and posted the following video of them in operation with the sidelight on and off
Nathan 'borrowed' one of my sidelights to develop these LED boards and I'm impressed with how clear they are even in the daylight
