got a set of molding clips, but i think i lost some of them, tried these ones on the car but they are too tall by look of it, any idea how tall the clips should be, and are they the same on the roof part to the pillars? i already got the right ones along the bottom, (different again i think)

car's outside with the windshield out and im stuck on this right now, so if u know, please post a reply asap!

PS anyone got the right clips?

It looks like you have rear window clips, the front upper and sides are the same, as you say shorter, they lie just under the roof panel, the lower trim clips are diferent.

yup the 20 (ie there are 20 of them) are on the car now and too tall.

they are the only ones i can find, apart from the 10 windshiled lower ones which luckily are already on the car.

Thanks for having a look! i am carrying on looking for mine. Have a feeling the bodyshop people chucked em out or something :(

Hi Will - I've just done the same job on my Coronet & have some left over . There are two styles of clips for the upper moulding across the top of the screen - the shallower ones go one at each end , as I recall. I should be able to take some pics for you & count the clips Monday night .

Cheers,

Matt

Hi Will, the ones you show with 14 on them are the ones you need. I bought a new set so I have some old ones kicking around. If you still need some let me know and I'll post them to you. Don't want anything for them, I was going to chuck 'em anyway, just kept them incase I lost a new one.................. Matt.

These windscreen trim clips are a mystery to me too...I took 'em all off thinking they were all the same.
If you do get it right Will  I think we would all appreciate some pix for reference, so we could have a definitive guide to which ones go where.
Go on Will, you're good with the camera and if you want some incentive... failure to comply and the sheep gets it
