Lowering a car

While the axle is out, I want to drop the rear end an inch or so.
Best way, lowering blocks or take the springs to get de-cambered?

Can't believe I am doing a rear end rebuild on the car 7 days before mopars!

I've got my axle in bits too, the bearings & seals are shot :?

I'd go the opposite and raise it 1\4 to 1\2" from that pic. Little bit of rake.... ;)
