Apologies for being a bit slow on the uptake with this one this year....

I know a few of you have been to this show before and its supposed to be a great event. This year its being held on 24th and 25th Sept. Here is a link to the website....

http://www.sywellclassic.co.uk/home/4581770422

A club stand would include minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 cars. Drivers must be able to commit to both days although there is a little flexibility in this if it is like last year. Its £5 per car to include 1 passenger and I will look into camping etc asap.

paypal is stevebillson@yahoo.co.uk

If you are happy to go on the list, would you please paypal £5 to me (family and friends so no cost to either of us) and I will get it paid up.

Just to get the ball rolling, would you mind letting me know if you are interested and I will compile a list. I need to know by the 10th of August please and its on a first come first served basis. If you just reply to this thread, I will update the list on this first entry and keep that current.

I need your full name, make, model and reg no of your car and a contact number (via PM please for security of your information). This info is required by the organisers (except phone no) for completion of the form.

If we are over subscribed, then I will start a 'reserve list', again, on a first come first served basis.

I will get the ball rolling...

I've just heard back from Mark Ashman, he is still organizing the 1/8 mile shoot out for this year.

Anyone wanting to enter they're car for this please let me know your details and make year of car etc.

Steve, are you happy to continue organizing the show field side of things?

Contact me on here or call / text 07889 054103

Great news, Don.

Roydon will be ready for this.

I would like to point out that if anyone is going to enter the Shoot out - it is on concrete and you WILL destroy your tyres, so bear this in mind or have a set of "sacrificial" ones fitted. Roydon killed a brand new set of M&H 32" x 14" x 15"Slicks at the first event. Thanks.

In fairness it was the first year that killed the tyres. Now that 'our' track has rubbered in i found that last year i had hardly any wear on my slicks

You running the Cornet Pete?

Also it is over the 1/8th but you have not got another 1/8th in which to stop the car - there is an "interesting" 90 degree bend or grass as an alternative....your brakes better be pretty good too!

Coronet is sold, Don; but the Challenger may be ready if I pull my finger out...
