Retired Today

Well, my retirement has finally landed and today is my first day in 'Civy Street'. Feels funny hanging the old spurs up but onwards and upwards!

Now where did I put my Horlicks and tartan blanket.....

When do you get your buss pass then old man........... :D ;)

That's one benefit of being in plod I suppose.......You get to retire early and enjoy C body modification! :thumbright:

Thanks men....few changes ahead for me but all good.

Marked my last day with a drive out in the Polara in the day and a nice bottle of red last night. Im really looking forward to realising there is only one 5 in the day!

Just coughed and followed through....is that a bad sign Pete?

Yeah Pete...I cant push back....err I mean Kick back like I used to!

Thanks Derek, I have a few plans that should keep me busy but dont involve answering to anyone or asking for Christmas and weekends off so hopefully I will be ok....wise words though...cheers :thumbright:
