Power Steering Pump and hoses - Small block 318

Hi all,
I have a very tired power assisted (ram) steering system I took off my old van, it needs new everything! I am attempting to recommission it all and refit to my new van.
Anybody reccomend a company to make up the hoses with the correcting fittings?
Are the fittings on the back of a small block PS pump 1/2 inch?
Next.... A simple problem:
I have offered the pump up to the A100 van and I am unsure on what to do with the PS pump belt.
My old van had the belt running from the PS pump down to the main crank pulley - Simples.
On my new van this cannot happen because there is a redundant second V in the waterpump pulley, there is nothing in the extra V but it is in the way for the PS belt if I want to run it like last time down to the crank.
Can get a photo later if that would help.
What would you,do?
1. Buy a single V waterpump pulley?
2. Run a big belt around the crank, waterpump and PS pump (is this advised?)
3. Run the PS pump off just the waterpump second V, it's ready to go.... (Is this advised? - I don't like the sound of this one as much, Extra strain on the waterpump?)
4. Something else.......
Any thoughts appreciated,
Cheers,
Steve
