Carb selection help

I'll be replacing the carb on my van.

Motor is a 318, it's an auto and though I don't know the gearing, converter spec etc, it's a van so it'll be a pretty relaxed setup.

I have dibs on an Eddy performer inlet and I definitely want a Holley as I 'get' them. I'm just not sure what spec carb to go for.

I'd like a mild performance boost but it's going to be my daily, so I don't want to damage mpg too much.
I'll put headers on it at some point too.

Holley 600 v/s would be my choice as well, although there's also the choice of the nearly new Edelbrock that's bolted to the performer intake ;) ...

keep the Carter BBD , works fine when set up, no need to spend much to do it either. :)
