I'll be replacing the carb on my van.

Motor is a 318, it's an auto and though I don't know the gearing, converter spec etc, it's a van so it'll be a pretty relaxed setup.

I have dibs on an Eddy performer inlet and I definitely want a Holley as I 'get' them. I'm just not sure what spec carb to go for.

I'd like a mild performance boost but it's going to be my daily, so I don't want to damage mpg too much.
I'll put headers on it at some point too.

I had a 6oo cfm Holley 1850 with a performer manifold and cam in my D100 318cu. in. great combo better performance and fuel

Holley 600 v/s would be my choice as well, although there's also the choice of the nearly new Edelbrock that's bolted to the performer intake ...

Ah! Well, that might be an option then...

keep the Carter BBD , works fine when set up, no need to spend much to do it either.

It floods apparently, so I have a good excuse

You get a new needle valve in the recon kit
