Graunchy noise turning left corners?

I know the Charger has an LSD, think its a suregrip but will check again. Turning left corners definitely here a metallic grinding noise from what I think is the offside rear wheel but maybe the diff? Is there any thing I can check first (oil level will be one thing and general bearing play) to determine what the fault is as I don't know how these rear axles are built?

Whip the wheel off and check the brake parts too.Sometimes a spring end can snap off and get between linings and drum.

Yep will do. I was intending to get both rear drums off and check all the brakes, etc. and the oil level this coming weekend.

I just thought that some LSD's can be noisy and if a Suregrip was one of them?

Well the problem turned out to be easily explained once I took off the drum from the noisy side and found these two pieces grinding around inside. Its the cable that attaches to the self adjusting rachet mechanism.... and the diff had plenty of oil in it as well....... mystery solved... Anyone got a spare cable ?

Thanks Justin for looking.... the replacement ones from Rock Auto are just plain and there are different ones depending on 10 or 11 inch drums being used - mine are 11's..... What car do you think yours have come off ? I'll also have a search around Rock Auto and see if can spot them off another mopar.
