68 dodge charger fender repair

hi guys n gals. just thought id post some resto mopar eye candy up for you. with hope that you may find them helpful or interesting. or even inspirational with your own restorations. here is my driver side fender in need of major surgery and restoration. and now being prepped for paint.

on the last pic. dunc you can see one of your doors I bought off you. which funnily enough brings me to my next pics I have to post. yes dunc I have been restoring your doors. well one of them. pics soon to follow. hope you all like my work I have done. or atleast get some inspiration to do your own work you have put of for yonks. reggie

thank you chaps. well I have nearly spent out. so I now have to make good what I have and do my best to make my chargers original parts worthy of refitting its major panels. I have bought one fender for it off jon awhile ago. that was in ok shape. just a little work needed. but my original fender of my car. was as you saw real battered. and quite rotten in places. I cut out all the rot. and I also removed the headlight backing panel so I could knock out the dents in front of the marker light hole. then rewelded it back in and sent it to the blasters. then i got on with all the rest of the welding and fabricating of the various parts to make it good for prep n paint. ooh yes about 2 n half days panel beating too. reggie
