My 73 Charger is very cramped in the front for me (i'm 6'5"). Has anyone relocated the seat in one of these??
Would like an extra few inches. Wouldn't mind dropping the seat height a bit too. Any suggestions??

I take it it has bucket seats not a bench.
you'll generally find that it's literally 4 bolts going through the rails and through the floor with just nuts on the end. height might need a cut juo but moving the rail section back should be simp,e enough. remember to plug the old holes !

I went to bucket from bench, new holes with metal plates to reinforce under the floor pan where the bolts go through!

Same. Used new bolts and plates underneath. In fact I removed the Mopar OEM subframes and used contemporary subframes with an Ali spacer (to support the new subframe) to get the height of the seats down a bit.

Its a bench in my charger. Will check and see if i can move the mounting bolts on the rail a bit.

Year One sells a kit for this:

Looks easy to copy rather than shipping it in from them.
