Brake Fittings

Going through the brakes at the moment and in reality I want to replace the entire system.

The Brake fittings are all well past there used by date.

Issue is I cannot seem to find the answer to which parts are required.

I believe that the pipework on these cars is 3/16".....No issue getting the hardpipe?

Most of the fittings i believe are 3/8-24 Inverted Flare.......Has anybody got any contacts in the UK for these?

Ive also seen:
9/16-18
1/2-20
7/16-24

Not sure if the above are all Inverted flare???

HELP?

You could try Automec, they seem to have most and can do the lines

Automec are great, there's three different sizes of brake unions on my charger, I gave them a call, got an email address and sent a pic of the ones I needed.
They called me back and offered to send me one union to try.

yeah get the short ones as mick says the thread goes right to the end of the union

the ones with the in threaded snout are a danger used on a Mopar

as far as I know they are all the same apart from the ones at the master cylinder.

Definitely get the fittings that are threaded all the way down. the normal UK type ones have a shoulder before the thread starts and that means they will only have about one turn of thread engaged which then strips when you try to tighten it up.

You can guess how I know this!
