Do you need to register? I think we normally just turn up... :?

Hi Rob - I think you may get away with 'just turning up' but, because I was booking in 30+ cars I asked for a PDF ticket that I've been sending out to anyone in MDC who is interested. If you want to let me have your email I'll ping it over for you to print off just in case they've changed the rules & you DO need a ticket (the bloke on the gate won't know its not a Mustang - they normally don't even know that a Mustang is a Mustang (point in case - the Ace Cafe last weekend  )

As a precaution I tried to "book" today - single car - to be told it was fully booked and no more entries....not sure what happens if you just rock up....

...Apparently I am going ;)

You know who you are :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

Not heard back from the organisers yet on random attendance, you would probably end up in the punter's car park - mind those doors!

Thanks for the ticket Roy :thumbright: Tho I think we'd have got in ok without - didn't seem to be that full despite reports of it being sold out / fully booked :?

Usual mix of classics, yanks, hot-hatches, fast-fords, boy-racers, daily-drivers-with personalised-number-plates  etc etc

Here's a selection...

Not a bad turnout, was going to come but the Barracuda decided to chuck water everywhere instead

Fantastic photos.

Yes I think it was in fact a 'turn up - cash in the charity bucket - drive in' situation but from the emails I had it looked like security was going to be tighter and because I had heard of some being told that the 'show was full' and 'no further display cars' were being booked in I thought it was best to play it safe.

Some were also told 'no vehicle movements allowed after 09:30' on e-mails but people were still coming in at lunch time!

great pics-nice to catch up with you both :thumbright:
hope you enjoyed the "Kilduff" shifter lesson .
nearly didn't go as read it was full-so just turned up and got waved straight in,few quid in the bucket and parked up .
I think they must like people to register to gauge numbers to cater for but that's 3rd time I have just turned up without problem.

Thanks guys - still getting to grips with the new camera but it's certainly an improvement over the old 'un :thumbright:

Shame you couldn't make it Blue, could have done with some more Mopar-types. I think there were about 10 of us, plus the new Challengers, tho we were a bit spread out.

And yes Dave, your shifter looks a hoot to use! :) Hope it's as good on the strip as it looks like it'll be. Might get one for the Polara.... can it be monted on the dash in place of our push-buttons? :geek:

ha ha glad you like it - its a great bit of kit , I think you might have some steering wheel clearance issues if it went on the dash
