Hi there. I'm new to the mopar world and have recently imported the Charger from Miami. It has the 383 installed and a spare 440 complete engine which needs a rebuild.
It also needs a fair bit of welding. I have patched up the small bits myself but do not want to attempt the a pillars or sills. Phoned a few companies who Charge £50 an hour!! It'll take me years to save up enough money! Anyone know of someone cheaper? I am in the Godstone, Surrey area.
Thanks
Ryan.

Hello and welcome to the club, I too have a 73 needing a lot of welding
Lots of help and info to be found within these pages to help your restoration.
Can't help with any welding recommendations for your area though, someone more local to you might.
Ps, we like Photos and lots of them

To be honest £50 an hour for a skilled fabricator in the London area isn't exactly crazy expensive, not sure what you were expecting to pay. Being realistic it just isn't cost effective to import rusty cars unless it's something rare and valuable, and '73 cars are not well supported by the aftermarket panel industry, so that just makes it even harder.

Hi Ryan, welcome!
Sounds like an interesting project, love 3rd Gen B bodies so it would be great if you could post up some pictures!
These places seem to carry quite a few 71-74 repair panels etc;
