LATEST NEWS ABOUT THE INCREDIBLE BURN-OUT CONTEST

This year the ever popular Burn Out contest held Sunday lunchtime at the track start line will differ a little as the deserved winner will collect a cash prize of £200 which can be put to anything not just tyres! Do not forget to sign –up over the weekend to enter or alternatively call Richard Berry 07759498651

Or e mail maxwedge426@sky.com with any questions.

This year the cruise will be heading for a NEW location, SYWELL AERODROME which is a working airfield dating back to 1928 located on the edge of Sywell village. There you will find many facilities including a restaurant, bar, lounge area, toilets and the aviation museum which hopefully will remain open for us. Only 12 miles away from Santa Pod this is a great opportunity to cruise in convoy, enjoy the ride, have refreshment and take a few photos. The cruise will leave around 7pm from the track on Friday night; location is NN6 0BN, Sywell, Northampton, UK. See you there!

Looking forward to this. :D This event was the highlight of the year for me last year.

Do we need to make seperate reservations at the resteraunt or will there be a section of tables reserved like last year?

It was the first time we've been to the nats last year. Nobody we asked seemed to know where the meeting point was for the start of the cruise though so it ended up being a bit fragmented. Half of the cars congregated in the gravel carpark on the entrance road next to the dodgems last year but I've no idea where everyone else met up?
Do we park up in the same place as last year for the start or is there another "official" area we're supposed to go to? :thumbright:

Cheers,

Jon.

As Mr Sloth says, will it be clear where we meet and leave from?

It's advised to book at table if wanting food.
Cruise meet point will be at the side of the show and shine area. This may move down towards the dodgems if plenty come and the Q goes into the pits

Sywell is a great venue for a cruise, nice country roads and a lovely art deco style building, and parking. bettre than trying to squeeze into a pub car park.

Excellent choice, well done guys!
