Wondering how it all went this year, Power Big Meet moved to Lidkoping, replaced by Vasteras Summer Meet on Johannisbergs Airfield

I know a couple of guys locally who went but not had chance to catch up with them yet, they were planning on doing a day at each show initially with a view to deciding where to go for the 3rd day based on the first 2

Which was the best show?? Where was the best cruising??

I went to the Big Meet in Lidkoping. Just for the Friday as I couldn't take any more time off. Met up Thursday night with my mate Dan who lives out in the country about 80 miles north of Gothenburg, and we drove straight to the show Friday morning.

Looked to be a little smaller than Vasteras last year, but still more than enough cars. Can't comment on the cruising - we left the show around 5pm so I could get a flight back.

we counted five 1958 Buick Limited Convertibles. Not bad from an alleged total of fewer than 20 Survivors !

went again this year(3rd year running)
didn't bother with power meet this time-
stayed in centre of Vasteras as usual and was exactly the same atmosphere.
big show on the same airfield,a bit down on car numbers and vendors but still excellent.
the cruise itself was a lot less busy but weather wasn't great when we went down sat night.
Halla retail park(fri night ) was as busy as other years so no change and lots of other small meets still going on ,open workshops etc.
it does help that the guys I go with are good friends with the local car guys-
they even laid on a dayvan and beer for us-fantastic hosts.
we have already booked hotel again for next year.
