Firle Hill Climb 2017

Well at Matts request and given he new photo and video capability on the site, here's a few bits from this years Firle Hill Climb.
Actually run at Bo Peep hill, just off th A27 near Selmeston, it was the third year of the current event, having previously not run since 1967. Organised by the Bo Peep Drivers Club, entry was limited to 80 cars chosen by the organisers to reflect a wide range of cars from those wanting a place, so I was lucky to be selected. After a slightly damp and foggy start, it ended up being a brilliant day. Great fun, though not best suited to the narrow hill, the Dodge was the second largest and second biggest engine on the day after a 27 litre Merlin engined special which sprayed liberal amounts of mud over everything else, hence the lumps on my bonnet in the vid. Great fun, hope I get in next year....
