Muscle car masters at this years bathurst 1000

Just got back taday from my first trip to Oz with the the V8 supercars at bathurst been my focus for the trip, but also love the the muscle car masters which are appropriate for this forum, proper grid of unusual cars, reverse grid for race 1 meant the valiant lead for the first few laps, race two was the retired V8 supercar divers for the lead, steve johnson in his boss 302 vs greg murph in his holden
Aaroon Noonan (the V8 SC commentator) has a real passion for the old V8's, and got together a nice colleciton of cars
Once the pubic had gone I was luck enough to see allan moffat reunited with both of the 1977 falcon's, colin bond was there too but didnt see him
+the bathurst musuem was worth a look too

That is the mecca for motorsport, been there and driven round it twice, in a Nissan E20 camper and a Falcon XR6.
I have never seen any racing there, only been when its a public road with a 50km/h limit!
The museum is great, pure iconic cars and the best racing muscle cars in the world IMHO. I will get there for the race one day, and I want to do an Outback Bash as part of the Bucket List.
Andy, were any Chargers in the Masters??

sorry matt cant remember seeing any oz chargers there, racing was very competive wih the lead cars and cars wernt that tidy but were very modded

List of 2017 combatants here; 1 Pacer.....Pretty competitive considering it's still running a Hemi 6.....Albeit a super modded one.

I would LOVE to race a 60's MOPAR that was built and set up for circuits. That would certainly be a workout, be like charging round Waitrose on a Bison try not to upset anyone
