Finally a 12.0500 on the last day of the season at Santapod.

I cant thank my family and friends from the MMA enough for a thoroughly immense year and what a learning curve

So after may tuning tweeks with what I had available it came down to ditching those 29 year old (yep 29!) tyres and whacking on a pair of slicks.

What a difference, hooks up nice and keeps straight as an arrow, no more twitchy rear end, mine or the cars

Merc caught napping, I had it with just over a car length. Although he ran a 12.0 to my 12.1, nice and close, I like to think it was a ‘first across the line race”

If it was a "who spent the most money to run a 12 race" then he won hands down!!!!

I had a good chat with the merc owner it is a right tool, he had issues with it only running on one bank of cylinders so was racing it like that certainly a quick car running on half his engine ,
