Mopar Muscle Association UK

Following on from Jon and Nicola's mention of how many miles they've done in the Demon in 2 years, I wondered how much our Mopars get used.

I take mine to events throughout the year, have been to Le Mans in 2014 (800 miles) and the Lake District this year (600 miles in 3 days) plus I take it to work on odd days maybe 4 a year.

I've checked my MOT history (without having to get out of my chair!) https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ and it looks like I did about 2000 in 2014, the year it got back on the road and went to Le Mans.
What is also apparent is that it took me 2 years to fix the speedo, as the mileage has only gone up by 400 since then!

I guess it about 1500 - 2000 a year, so within the 3000 miles for limited mileage insurance.

Anyone else ?

Matt The Black Yatch has been used quite a bit in the last year, over 1500 miles, a few hundered miles in antons old charger,but my Daytona & Green coronet not more than a 100 each

Go with "Brentacre" - they do not limit mileage in most cases! Worth a check.

You can use it even more, when you are not swanning about in your military vehicles!

86 ram 3000 miles ish
92 chev motorhome 1500 miles with a trailer
66 chrysler wagon 100 miles
67 plymouth wagon 100 miles(1/4 at a time)
71 barracuda 0 miles in 5 years

Not many. A few trips to a mates (140 miles round trip) and a few runs out around town. 500ish. Must try harder!

I average 2000 a year in the Demon, a little less in the Dart

2700 in the Monte Carlo.
1500 in the Dayvan.
1200 in the Jeep Wrecker.
500 in the Fury.


I live 1.5 miles from my work. Need to get the Fury out more

About 1800 the last few years, mostly local running around.

Same with you Dave 400 passes in a season is a hell of a lot,,and very doubt full maybe,, 100 passes not miles,

111 miles this year just gone.
Hardly worth having but its one of 5 toy cars on the road.
