Ive known this car for years, was in Watford for sale for ages, but never seems to get to any shows. A bloke in Hitchin built it way back before I bought mine so about 2000. I couldn't afford to buy it at the time.

Rebuilt most recently like 4-5 years ago by a guy at Watford Vans, possibly the owner, (Bob Howe knew/Knows either him or the car, was approached at least once for advice at some point in its Watford ownership)
Think he originally had it for its engine/drivetrain to go into a 318 US car.
eventually put it all back together
was up for sale at 15- 20K at one point.
assumed it didn't sell
assumed wrong if its now in Evesham....
had 4 driving lights at one stage.
looks to be pretty good shape

The body restoration was done in Hitchin by the guy who still runs a garage there. He put the hideous 4 lights in it. He never actually drove it other than once that I saw. It was kept dry stored at his garage for years. He has a second spares car as well but not sure where that went. I have the reg number somewhere.
I suspect Watford Vans have done no bodywork, only the grille and maybe mechanical stuff.

ah so the guy in Hitchin did the body!
Watfod guy must have just done the grill, partially RT-ed it and pained all the chromework black
anyway i believe his 3 year "for Sale" persistence paid off and the current owner has had it a year or so.

currently looks as it should now Dunc
shares a similar front end treatment to some of the 70s US A bodies 2 small driving lights to confuse rabbits caught in the beam
previously looked a bit squint eyed due to having 4 of the little lights and 2 headlights and 2 side lights/flashers...
surprised any air got to the rad
was a bit much...might have looked ok on an Atkinson or Foden not so hot on australia's best family sized sporty car
