Auto TF727

I'm sure I asked this question last year , when I first took the auto box out of my Dart , for a rebuild.
Well it looks like I may well be starting in imminently.
So the question that I can't find the previous answer to was, What lubricant should be used when replacing the rubber o rings, and seals.
The 727 Bible says "door eze" . Would silicone lubricant do the job , or is there issues with it mixing with atf and going lumpy.
Any ideas from seasoned auto box refurbishers ?

When I did my city and guilds in automatics in 1974 I was told to use petroleum jelly (Vaseline) and only use paraffin as these are all made basically from the same thing and will mix together . I have been building then since the early 1970s and never had a problem all cheep and easy to get hold of

Funny enough, just refilling mine now, they hold quite a lot don't they !!!

From a Google about, 8 quarts minus the Torque convertor and about 10quarts all in ... So in new money, thats about 9 Litres and 11.5l
