Yes well what can you say about that? Looks like someone's wrecked a decent car again

at least it'll only be in need of a repaint.
Always the possibility it was done to cover up some damage I guess.

Do you think they chemically stripped it? As in is the rusty looking stuff actually metal? Is that even possible with the metallic makeup of modern bodies
Hang on...... it’s probably been wrapped!
Still looks ‘king horrible!

Yes, vinyl wrapped would be my guess - there's a pick up down this way i've seen a few times with a similar effect - must be from a catalogue somewhere

I hate fake patina, the real thing or don't go there...

Not for me.......Problem he has is that plastic tends not to rust.....even in the wet areas of the US!!!
Modern cars have too much plastic to make it look good......That and natural patina is very hard to replicate.
I'm also not a fan of stripping cars to bare metal and leaving outside for a few wet days, prior to clear coating!

Certainly different, rather like the Pro Mod Daytona complete with leaves etc.
Only £38500, with 13k miles? Seems rather cheap as long as the vinyl comes off without damaging the paint.
