I've never "pushed the button " , but it's a dangerous place!!!
Currently got an xs650 bobber build in my head ( and a donor on eBay )

I bought an XS650 new.....

Guess I didnt do so bad. Stoopidest thing I ever bought drunk was a big stuffed purple dragon (dont ask - no idea).
My charger I was sober for. Not saying it was wise, but I was sober haha !

Great minds think alike Gary ....I have an XS650 Bobber project sitting in my garage... now a a re-phased XS750 thanks to Anton! Managed to hide from the wife for 2 years but now she knows...

I'm not really sure where my want has come from. ? Got an idea in my head , and it's been snowballing!!!
Never even rode a bobber / chopper.
Perhaps it's now I have a garage again , I need a little winter project ? Who knows ?

I don’t drink but I was left unsupervised and bought the 66 fury that’s in the for sale section. It was in New York and I never saw it until I collected it at the docks. Luckily the seller was a top bloke and the car was / is really good.

The ONLY time I drank and surfed I didn't end up with a charger.
It was a car however...
1971 model...Torsion bar front suspension, rear wheel drive, leaf springs at the rear, cheap vinyl interior.
The mopar similarities end there, though... it was a 1300 Marina coupe in army green!

After the "oh bugger" moment, I did end up putting it back on the road and selling it. When I added up the spreadsheet it came to a 16 quid loss so could have been a lot worse!

I’ve loads of them on eBay, including my Charger. Had to register my credit card with them for my last bid to be accepted on the charger because it was over 15k. I was sober at the time but had remortgaged in order to be able to get it
Probably the most sensible stupid decision I ever made!

This was a 'midnight and a bottle of wine' job... Good fun for while though
