[attachment=0]20180722_095938-2.jpg Just recently shipped my 1970 Dodge Challenger RT 383 here to the UK; it's one of the few known to exist produced at the Swiss assembly plant AMAG (Automobil- und Motoren AG). AMAG did the final assembly of the Challengers converting them to Swiss specifications with Kilometer odometers and European spec halogen headlights.
My 1970 Challenger RT is an original, numbers matching, low mileage (48,000 kilometers) painted in its original color of GoMango Orange with the original Burnt Orange interior. It’s highly optioned with factory AC, power windows, Rally Gauge Package, Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM 8-track stereo radio, and factory tinted windows. Interestingly, it was ordered with a column shift automatic versus the console shift automatic. It’s documented with the original build sheet and fender tags.
I’ve owned the Challenger since 2006 and have participated in many different shows and events since acquiring it to include the 2007 Jim Clark Revival at the Hockenheim Ring in Germany and the 2009 Hemmings Magazine sponsored Muscle car shoot-out at Englishtown Raceway in New Jersey. Since importing the Challenger to the UK, we have attended Spring 2018 Drive It Day at Bicester, the 2018 London to Brighton Sports Car Rally and the 2018 Silverstone RetroRun.
