need a little advice here guys. took the barracuda out for its mot and a run before winter lay up. it developed an oil leak, quite a big oil leak, and I traced down to coming out of the oil dip stick tube under pressure. the valve cover breathers are working ok so don"t know where the pressures coming from. the car runs well, no funny noises , no lack of power. any ideas out there

I assume it is a Small Block?

Is there a PCV connected? That may help a bit..it does sound like crankcase pressurisation...

Often there is a PCV valve in the RH rocker box that links to manifold vacuum on the inlet or carb.

This can help "Breathing" engines...

Make sure your "breathers" are doing just that. If they are blocked or wet with oil then this is what happens.
