Some hope in there with mention of planning in July for some “behind closed doors” track days. It'll wont be Dragstalgia but . . .

Yes Adrian, but a bit Ironic that they cancelled the MOCGB event in July that was "limited" attendance and behind closed doors.....
Fingers crossed - I need an event to run the engine in before I give it the beans - unless someone owns a very big field / Road a long way from the general public in Hertfordshire / Cambridgeshire....

Hi folks, really sad news, have had conversations with SP and other advisers etc there will be no MoparEuroNats for 2020. 27 years of a muscle car event and this year its not going to happen, I am devastated!!!!
Not sure about Drag Racing in the UK for the future, a bit bleak but the "new" normal world when it comes round might not find our hobby palatable.
On a bright note how about two Mopar shows for next year? All, your thoughts please I will miss everyone who makes the annual pilgrimage to the EuroNats. Stay safe..............

VERY sad news, Tony, but not unexpected.
I totally agree that we should do our level best to "bounce back" in 2021 to re-invigorate the Sport / Hobby.
All the best with your discussions with Santa Pod.
Pete

Bad news, but not really surprised. Have to cancel the hotel. Real shame as it’s the highlight of mine and Gavin’s sons year. Here’s to next year, let’s just hope Santa Pod can survive financially in the meantime.

We had a hotel room booked for "Dragstalgia" and the Hotel chain cancelled before we had a chance to do so....

Real shame, I had my fingers crossed for this one. I bet it’s a scorcher as well like all the bank holidays have been so far this year.
Pity we couldn’t all still meet up responsibly on the Sunday for a get together with the cars as restrictions will no doubt be eased dramatically by the end of July, just an idea?
Gav.

Gutted as we all are. I was hoping we would manage to make the Nats , but not surprised it is cancelled.
I'm confident this pandemic will only boost our morale, to get out , and do what we love in the future.
The future is still unclear , but we will all be back at some point.
A full 7 day event would be nice for 2021
