Been a year or so without a Mopar and now I’m back. My 351 ‘64 Falcon was a blast, but too much money to make handle and brake properly, then the ‘95 Trans Am I’ve just sold was a terrific car in every way, fast too, but just too modern.
So last week I trundled up the motorway to see Terry and buy his nice ‘66 Baracuda 273 Formula S. Nice numbers matching car an I found some of its history by chance on the ‘net this week. Came from Louisiana, Kentucky and then Newq York to UK. Stored for about half it’s life which is probably why it’s so rust free and original. Drove back 300 miles as Terry said it would. Needs some fettling but nothing I can’t do.

Nice to see you back, been following your purchase on FB.
As you see I popped back outta the woodwork too.
Looks like a cracking fish, I was very close to buying a Formula S off of Dave Madders years ago but could not get funding.

Miles was never really away, he was just catching a long wave! You’re certainly building up a fair inventory of cars. I remember coming over when you had the yellow Ram....been through a few since then. Must say I thought the Falcon would stay longer.

Si o, the Falcon was a really nice rust free car, but the cost of al the required upgrades to make it safe and stop outweighed the potential value. Also as ahybrid six to eight cylinder car it wouldn’t hold a market value.
Was casting around for a Mopar at a fair price and Terry sold me just that.
