Thats the AAR that my 340 TA engine came from. At the time that the photo was taken it had a 340 in it. It was a good job as well as he put a lot of nitros in it and snaped the crank. Thats my silver 69 Dart YYV156H when it had the 440 in it

Nice one Dave. Is that the Dart that Mickey Fullbrook ended up hoarding in his garage?
Just remember Mickey's being siver....

Yes I bought it in Belgium in 1979-80 it was one owner and had 9000 miles on it. I sold it in 1984 and Mick locked it away in his Garage I bought it off him in 1993 had it on the road for about a year with the TA in it its been off the road ever since

Yes about 19000 The body work around the back arches needs doing I think where it was left I Micks garage with no ventilation didn't help and then I left it outside all one hot summer and that knackered to tops of all the seats turned them Brown and cracked. We all live and learn. The Silver paint has faded and it needs a respray. As I say at the beginning of every new year hope to have it out for the nationals we will see

No Rob - that would be Carolyn, although she is wearing my jacket, so you're forgiven
Great pics though Rob - I'm enjoying these trips down memory lane. Nice to see Richard Lee's bronze 69 Coronet R/T. Always liked that car. I wonder what became of it?
That may well be Pete Webb in the 69 Hemi Roadrunner, but he never owned it. Two brothers owned it at the time, Brendan and ? (the hippy). IIRC, neither of them had a driving licence.

Sorry Blue, will make up for it soon!
Adam, was that the same Richard Lee that raced the 'Southern Raider' Firebird/Trans Am thingy? I think that was his name, lived up this way in Watford.
I often wondered about the 'hippy' (no offence to anyone else with long hair!), thought he must be Pete Webb's brother

He always seemed to be hanging around the hemi & later the yellow 68 roadrunner......
all very confusing

No Rob, Richard lives down here in Sussex. Has a red 70 Cuda (an original 440 4 speed car). Always at the EuroNats with his daughter, who races an orange 70 Challenger, towed by his red Dakota R/T.

Small world, innit?!
Who'd have thought, two Richard Lees!
Next you'll be telling me there's two Stuart Lanes, and 1 of them lives in Australia and contributes to Connected.... nah
