Charger got a good spot under the iconic Manchester Central Station clock

some of my photos were taken during setup on Friday evening when there wasn't many people about, rest assured the event was very well attended all day Saturday

Jason's Coronet has been professionally detailed over many hours during the previous week

it's had a graphene coating applied, Jay drove it up from Stockport Friday evening in Bananarama! weather, got into the hall and it was hardly wet, just a little crud on the wheels, i could have sworn he'd washed it outside but no, rain/crud just can't stick to it, amazing!!

it's got depth you wouldn't normally associate with a pastel colour

Some excellent pictures there, Simon - I am glad the Charger got a high profile spot, it certainly deserves it!

Jinx's Coronet is looking superb too!

I hope you enjoyed your time there and the experience.

Thank you for supporting the event.

All the best.

Pete

cheers Pete, we had a fantastic day, really good fun

everyone one i spoke with said how great it was having such a wide variety of cars, some really unusual stuff, this meant chatting with people i wouldn't normally meet at a yank, hot rod or classic meet, at the end of the day whatever your interest, it's all about the cars

some great entertainment on stage as well, including an idol chat with Colin Furze

if Jonny does a repeat tour next year and comes to a town near you, i can highly recommend it

Audi Quattro S1 E2 Pikes Peak // 900Hp Group B Monster

David Rowe and his company EPS Motorsport, built and raced this incredible Audi Quattro S1 E2 at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

it is a recreation, built from a genuine standard wheelbase Quattro with 13" chopped from behind the B pillar

this 63 Merc featured in a recent video from Jonny's Barn Find series, on the video it only mentions the location is 'somewhere' in Manchester

i got chatting with the owner (who also owns the 6000 mile Metro next to it) and it turns out we only live 1/2 mile part

Richard Porter was on stage with Jonny, followed by Ed China at the event in Leicester.

Very easy going and entertaining.

As you say, the mix of cars there brings you into contact with other niches and suchlike, which makes a pleasant change.

The Guy who owns the "Flying Kestrel" was there, and we had a good chat with him.

Well worth attending if you can get to an event in my opinion.

A real mix there, some great stuff. Glad to see an Aussie Bathurst racer there, Peter Brock's 05 Cossie.

Inios Grenadire looks the part too, and NEW mk1 Escorts, very nice.
