hi all,
joined this forum today, but have visited the website for the past couple months.
I'm really into fuselage C bodies, are there any '69 to '73 (preferably chrysler) owners in this forum?
P.S saw this Newport Sedan at a car show this summer, perhaps the owner is in this forum... (attached)
It was also featured in Classic American a few years ago, I know it resides in Manchester.
Nice to meet you all.
Louis

Welcome! I love C bodies too, the slabsides and fusies, in fact, all C bodies. My dream car is a 70 300H but love Imperials, Sport Furies, Polaras, Monacos, New Yorkers, wagons .... everything really.
Not to many on here but the mechanicals are very similar across the board so you are in the right place.
Cheers Steve

Found a couple of pics of the other two C bodies I've owned. I bought the 66 Fury III to learn how to weld etc (it needed it!!) and my pal had it of me as his '50th present to self'. He still uses it regularly. My New Yorker was my one and only foray into importing. I would recommend it as prices across the pond are still reasonable for good C Bodies...cheers

This was mine a few years back and really woke me up too the appeal of Mopars. The chap who owns the green Newport camped close to us at Santa Pod a while back, nice bloke to chat to.

I have fond memories of it Steve but the lure of a B body was too much. If I were to have another it’d have to be a 1970 300H and another garage

I remember the trip round Santa Pod with you at the NATS a few years ago, what a car! I'm with you on the 70 300H, my dream C body. I wish I had bought the one that Duncan had a few years ago but unusually, my sensible head took over and really let me down. Try finding one now that's not silly money!
Cheers Steve

I'm not into racing etc so size, weight etc doesn't bother me. I just love big cruisers and that feeling of just floating along. The early 70s C bodies just look great too!
