If that's how the car really is it seems a not outrageous price considering what some people are valuing '68 fastbacks for. Any idea what the production numbers were for these?

Yes I saw that the other day, looks good specially with a 383 in a convertible and for 67 year.
Makes me smile and happy when I see prices like that in US, may be if I decide to sell mine, I may advertise it in US

That is very nice. I'm not a huge fan if convertibles as they loose their shape in my opinion but this is really nice. Would love to see it with the top down

Not normally a ragtop fan but I'd happily own a '68 vert...

I spotted this one recently and thought it was right up my street.

That is even nicer, apart from the wheels

Love the wheels, Kustomags are one of my favourites, out of production for many years and very pricy when you can find them. Used centre caps alone fetch 100 bucks apiece...

I'm just boring Blue. I love originality and the only change I like from original on a Mopar or other American 60s or 70s car are Magnum 500s preferably with redlines

I love redline tyres too! A carefully chosen wheel and tyre combo really completes these cars IMO, rarely can the stock set up not be improved upon. The aftermarket made some great looking parts in the muscle car years so it will always be "Day 2" for me.

I just can't get past my love of completely original unrestored cars. I look at an original car with non original (even period) wheels and it spoils the car, or seriously detracts from its appeal for me. I think it stems from my love of old 60s and 70s American TV shows where I got my weekly fix of American cars when I was a boy. It was rare to see anything other than original on these shows. I know it's just me Blue, I can't help it.

I grew up watching those same shows but always had my head buried in a car magazine and there was nothing stock in those. I also used to buy the American kits that gave you multiple ways to build the cars, I never chose the stock option. I have as much love for the aftermarket from that period as I do for the cars themselves, its all intertwined. Anyway the original car in this thread needs a nice set of wheels on it ....

I used to make kits and throw away all the custom stuff
