Tracing History of ‘70 Challenger R/T SE

Hello all,
I wonder if there is anyone out there that remembers my ‘70 Challenger when it was on the road? or indeed knows any of the cars history?
It was bought as a basket case during the pandemic and needs complete restoration. The seller had limited knowledge of its history, but did tell me it was sold new from a dealership in New Jersey. It then crossed the pond to Britain in early 1971. The factory colour was FC7 Plum Crazy, but sometime in the mid to late ‘70s it was mildly customised with an oasis mural on the trunk lid, red ‘Dodge’ lettering on the rear quarters and metallic red paint on the lower body sides. It was also exhibited like this at the 1978 UK National Custom Car Show at Ally Pally, 18-26th Feb. He thinks it was last on the road in the early ‘80s
It’s a 383 magnum/A727 TF matching numbers car with some nice factory options such as, power brakes, power windows & A/C. Unfortunately the fender tag has either been lost or rotted away and there is no sign of a build sheet stashed anywhere. I would love to find out more on the cars early life or how I might be able to trace its history. Obviously the DVLA can’t release details of previous owners, due to data protection.
There’s some photos attached that I’m hoping might jog someone’s memory! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
