Emissions equipment delete

Hi all
1976 Dodge D100 318ci. As this was a Californian truck it still has all the emissions stuff in place. Not bothered about it being place but most of the vacuum lines have perished, they are currently wrapped in electrical tape. So my question is can I disconnect the equipment vacuum lines (and plug as necessary) and electrical connectors without any detriment to running? And blank off egr valve or plug line?
Cheers Doug

Keep the EGR but yes you can bin the rest off, be careful not to block the fuel tank breather though.

Is the tank breather the line that goes through the charcoal canister? If so was going to leave that in anyhow 👍🏼

Funny you should mention that, just replaced my rusty Challenger tank on which I'd blocked the lines off, and the old tank has vaccuum crushed the top down, i suspect due to removing the venting system.
