Thanks for those James , we took our 2001 red c5 convertible up there on Sunday , and had a great time , a first timer for us and what an experience , so much more than just cars , we had no idea !

I know Adam Ford goes frequently and he has always raved about it , so this year we thought we would do the same , and boy it did not let us down , even dressed up which is just as well as if not would have stood out like a sore thumb !

If anyone has ever thought of doing this event it will surprise and delight you , even some cars from the Gasser Circus there , Simon and ' The Rocket ' were outstanding .

One for the diary next year too

What??!! That's a big part of the Goodwood experience for me - driving our big old cars round that beautiful part of the country, usually surrounded by other classics. Would you prefer if it was in the centre of a town??

Well, I imagine that would be kinda cool

James is probably referring to the state of the road surface, pot holes, ruts etc. 90% of B roads are awful.
Which is a shames as these country back roads are the best for driving on. Maybe it's a ploy to keep the speeds down.
